• Account and authentication: email address, technical identifier, role, preferred language, creation date and session information. The password is handled by the authentication provider and is not available to the publisher in plain text.
• Service use: analyses requested or viewed, related dates, technical credit balance and movements, display preferences and subscription status if this feature is enabled.
• Support: email address, subject, message content, optional image attachment and technical data needed to limit abusive submissions.
• Technical data: IP address, security logs, browser or device information and strictly necessary cookies, depending on the logs actually generated by the hosting and technical providers.

Purposes and legal bases

• Creating and securing the account, authenticating the user, remembering preferences and providing requested features: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps.
• Managing technical credits, access, any subscriptions and related history: performance of a contract and, where applicable, compliance with legal obligations.
• Responding to support requests: steps requested by the user or the publisher’s legitimate interest in providing support.
• Preventing fraud, abuse and incidents, retaining technical evidence and protecting the service: the publisher’s legitimate interests.
• Storing or reading non-essential trackers, if added: prior consent.

Required data

Fields marked as required are needed to create an account, authenticate the user or respond to a request. Without them, the relevant feature cannot be provided. Contact form attachments are optional.

Recipients and providers

Data is accessible only to authorised persons working for the publisher and, as needed for their role, to providers of hosting, databases, authentication, email delivery, payments if enabled, security and maintenance.

In the current technical configuration, Supabase is used for authentication and account data, while Resend routes messages sent to support. Providers used to generate sports analyses are not intended to receive the user’s identity or contact details.

Personal data is not sold or rented for advertising purposes.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Relevant countries and safeguards

 

Some providers may process data from a country outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, the transfer must rely on an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another mechanism recognised by applicable data protection law.

Retention periods

• Account: while the account is in use, then only as long as needed to delete it, manage a dispute or comply with a legal obligation.
• Access, credits and any transaction history: during the user relationship and, where needed, archived for applicable statutory periods.
• Support requests and attachments: for the time needed to handle the request, then for a period proportionate to follow-up or evidence needs.
• Security logs and abuse-prevention data: for a short period proportionate to the security purpose.
• Cookies and local preferences: for the periods listed in the cookie policy.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time. Send requests to support@algosport.ai. Proof of identity may be requested only where there is reasonable doubt about your identity.

You may also lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) or the supervisory authority in your country.

Automated decisions

Sports analyses may be generated automatically, but they are not decisions made about the user and do not produce legal or similarly significant effects on the user.

Security and updates

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect data. As no system can provide absolute security, those measures are adapted to identified risks.

This policy may change to reflect updates to the service or applicable law. The date at the top of the page identifies the current version.
