Both Teams to Score (BTTS)

Both Teams to Score is a market on whether each team will score at least one goal in the match.

both teams score

Plain definition

This market asks whether both teams will score at least once. It does not depend on the final winner, so a match can settle BTTS Yes even if one side wins comfortably. BTTS No wins when at least one team fails to score.

Why it matters

BTTS is useful when the attacking and defensive profiles point to chances at both ends. It targets each team's ability to create and concede, making it more specific than a general goals total when shared scoring opportunities are expected.

Practical example

A 2-1 result settles BTTS Yes because both teams scored. A 2-0 result settles BTTS No because one team failed to score.
